the session startup dialog is made for applications not registred correctly to
the session. You can just store a session with the application instead of a
clear one for your issue. If an application should not be started twice please
open a bug on the application saying it. I'm closing this bug since there is not
real change to do here, that work as designed. You can note that the current
session system is not optimal but there is already some other bugs about that,
that's known upstream and GNOME 2.14 will use the new libgnomeservice for that.
