Summary: Rhythmbox crashes when inserting a blank CD
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: rhythmbox
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: michael at endbracket.net
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Rhythmbox has been crashing a lot for me this past week for no obvious reason.

One action I can take to cause it to repeatedly and reproducably crash is to
open Rhythmbox, play some MP3s from my library with shuffle on, then insert a
CD-R disc into my CD-RW drive on /dev/hdd. I get a prompt asking me to choose
between four options (cancel, open, create data, create audio) or something like
that. At the same time as the prompt appears, Rhythmbox crashes.

I wonder if this is related to asynchronous or synchronous background events.
Possibly something to do with HAL?

Will get a trace when I get a second. For some reason Bug Buddy isn't detecting
the crash.

Possibly related to bug 12581.
