Ubuntu | gnome-panel

Summary: gnome-panel lock screen do nothing if xscreensaver is
                    off
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-panel
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: fabiomendes at myrealbox.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

If I lock screen with screensavers disabled gnome-panel simply do nothing. Maybe
it would be better to start xscreensaver in a blank screen and quit xscreensaver
when the user get back. The sub-optimal solution would be warn the user that
xscreensaver isn't running and gnome can do nothing to lock the screen.
