Ubuntu | gnome-vfs2
Summary: disable cdda:// and associate gnome CD player with
cdda://
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-vfs2
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: emmanuel.touzery at wanadoo.fr
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I was always a bit frustrated that left-clicking on an audio CD on hoary I get
the cdda:// in nautilus, which is slow, doesn't look good, and doesn't seem to
work anyway.
I saw on http://mail.gnome.org/archives/nautilus-list/2005-July/msg00208.html
that in Fedora this is handled differently: they made that instead of opening
cdda:// nautilus launches the CD player.
I think ubuntu should take that change from Fedora, it's much better.
