Summary: Cryptic name of audio cd in title bar when browsing
(hdx)
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-desktop
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: wouterstomp at yahoo.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
In gnome, an audio cd is referenced to as:
Audio Disc (on the desktop/in places menu)
hdc (in the title bar of the window opened when clicking on the cd)
hdc should definitely be renamed. Furthermore it would be great if the artist
and title of the cd are used as the name. Gnome already shows the tracks by
their names, so I think it should be possible to reference to the cd as well by
its own name. It being an audio disc could easily be made clear by adding a
little music note to the icon of the cd.
