Summary: Errors when mounting, opening and unmounting USB drive
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: hal
        AssignedTo: martin.pitt at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: julo at altern.org
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

As of breezy (updated on the beginning of july), my USB hard driver can't be
mounted anymore. I get the following message when trying to mount it using the
disk mount applet:

mount: can't find /dev/sda1 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

So, I use pmount /dev/sda1 to mount it, and it works.

Then, if I click on the disk mount applet to open it, I get a message stating:

Impossible to find /gnome/vfs2/internal/no/uri/available

However, clicking on the device's icon in the "places" menu works fine.

Finally, when trying to unmount it using the disk mount applet, I get the
following error (though it successfully unmounts it):

Impossible to eject the media
eject: unable to eject, last error: invalid argument

All that used to work so so long ago, and seemed to break after a single upgrade.

Thanks !
