I see the same as Vincent;  perhaps we've both got slower graphics cards
than most?  Seven strokes required from start to finish.  Years ago, I
raised a similar bug on Gnome's gsm when using an X terminal.

That was claimed to be fixed by cutting down on the amount of X protocol
required, but perhaps this is a similar problem?  At least this time,
the dialogue appears at the start, so I'm not waiting for the stuttering
effect to finish first.
