Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? What kind of CD drive?
Is it listed by "dmesg"? By "hal-device-manager" or "lshal"? Does it work with
cdrecord? Do you know how to rebuild a package, nautilus-cd-burner has a
"list_cddrives" built with the sources but not shipped with the package, running
it and copying that to a comment would be useful
