Summary: huge memory leak in evolution
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: evolution
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: joe.schmid at gmx.net
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Sent an email with two pdf-attachments (first 8.0MB, second 5.6MB) to three
addressees.

One of the names was spellt wrong. So received back a failure notice of the
email-server
of one of the addressees with the original mail attached. Evolution received
this failure
notice and tried to show it in the preview area in the evolution original window
(made no
double click on the email).Trying this, the memory consumption of evolution
exploded.
It took all of available RAM (1GB total in the machine) and began massive swapping
on the disk (another 1.1GB). Evolution can't be used any more because it will not
react to any mouse signals any more. If the evolution process is stopped, every time
it is started again the same problem will occur because the mail that is causing
the troubles is on top of the Input-Box and evolution will try to display it.
