Summary: Ejecting an iPod requires root privilege
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: nautilus
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: manu.cornet at gmail.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Ejecting an iPod with just the "eject /dev/sdaXX" command (I suppose this is
what nautilus does when right-clicking the iPod and choosing "unmount") doesn't
work : eject returns an "invalid argument" error. Using the same command with
sudo solves the problem.

Steps to reproduce :

1. Plug an iPod (mini for me) via USB.
2. Wait for the icon to appear on the desktop, then right-click on it and choose
"unmount".
3. An error occurs (error dialog).
4. Open a terminal, run "df" to see where the iPod is mounted, then run "sudo
eject ..." (with the location) : the iPod is indeed unmounted from the system,
and the iPod itself considers it has been unplugged from the computer.

I am running an up-to-date Breezy Badger.
