I'm a bit worried about the multiple 

  /dev/ide/host2/bus0/target0/lun0: p1

lines in your dmesg output. That almost sounds like the 'bounce' effect in #14495.

Can you please try something? Please do

  sudo sed -i '2i\exit 0' /etc/dev.d/block/hal-unmount.dev

(i. e. insert 'exit 0' as the second line in /etc/dev.d/block/hal-unmount.dev)

Does that help?

Also, do you have the possibility of trying this with Dapper Flight-2?
