There is a bug in gnome-cups-add crashing every time when uim-gtk-immodule is
activated under german or english locales enabled.
If desktop is set to be displayed in japanese, this problem does't shows up.
If desktop is set to be displayed in german or english but uim-gtk-immodule
deaktivated, the problem also occurs.
If uim-gtk-immodule is aktivated under desktop displayed in non japanese
gnome-cups-add will continue crashing every time, the only way to get it started
without crashing is to open a terminal and set LC_ALL=ja_JP before start
gnome-cups-add.

e.g.

LC_ALL=ja_JP gnome-cups-add 

Then it works perfect.

Note: if cupsd is stopped gnome-cups-add won't crash even if uim-gtk-immodule is
activated under non japanese desktop locales.

I think the problem has to do with cupsd and gnome-cups-add, not inerpretating
LC_ variables correctliy if uim-gtk-immodule is set the default IME under non
japanese locales.
