It uses HEX 4F / DEC 79, the letter 'O' in uppercase for the last digit in
"2.12.x", when it should (to the best of my knowledge) be using HEX 0 / DEC 0,
the number '0'.

The full version of the package in Ubuntu Dapper is per now "2.12.O-0ubuntu3".
