Summary: Restarting GNOME didn't fix crashed panel
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-panel
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: jnoreiko at yahoo.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

The GNOME panel crashed, and did CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE to restart GNOME.

When GNOME restarted, I got a dialog box saying something like 'Panel is already
running, I'm terminating this instance'. Each click of OK on this dialog gave
the same dialog all over again.
