Ubuntu | gnome-panel

           Summary: Empty "Question" blocks gnome-panel
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-panel
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: jeff.schroeder2 at us.army.mil
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

After the latest update to dapper, the panel does not work whatsoever. When
logging into gnome, the panel loads up, becomes transparent, and then a
completely empty dialog comes up with the window title, "Question". The
applications menu nor none of the launchers on the panel work. The desktop
switcher and all applets work.

Right clicking on the panel, the launchers, menu, etc do not respond whatsoever.
Using xkill to kill the dialog will kill (and gnome-session will respawn)
gnome-panel to have the same issue happen again.
