           Summary: Applications menu items disappear
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-panel
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: mrroach at okmaybe.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I just upgraded to dapper from breezy. When I click on the Applications menu, it
briefly displays the contents, then turns into just a small gray rectangle. When
I do this, it gives this error:

(gnome-panel:5234): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_drag_source_set_icon_name: assertion
`icon_name != NULL' failed

If I run smeg, it is able to see the menu contents, as is gnome-menu-spec-test.
Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to help track
this down.

Thanks,

Mark
