I've tried to gather more information about the problem. I could not find a way
to make it work, but here is what I've tried.

First I tried moving my ~/.gnome2/epiphany and ~/.gconf2/epiphany folders.
I also tried creating a new user accound from the 'desktop' config.
I looked at information from ldd and strace, but it feels like a large haystack.

Sorry I can't find any solid information. I may try downloading a nightly live
cd and testing that.
