           Summary: No more CD ROM
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: hal
        AssignedTo: martin.pitt at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: julo at altern.org
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Since today's update, I noticed that I can't access my CD ROM anymore in Dapper.
CDs used to be automatically mounted on insertion, but now they aren't. Trying
to mount the CD ROM using the mount applet or the CD icon results in the
following error:

mount: special device /dev/hdc does not exist

And, indeed, I don't have /dev/hdc anymore !
