------- Additional Comments From mike at blamires.co.uk  2005-12-07 01:57 UTC -------
installed dbg packages as required, I tried to build file-roller as per Wiki
page - created the .deb and installed. The crash has not re-occured from that
point on.

"DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="nostrip noopt" sudo apt-get source -b <package>" resulted in
the below (no -dbg?)

file-roller-2.13.1
file-roller_2.13.1-0ubuntu2.diff.gz
file-roller_2.13.1-0ubuntu2.dsc
file-roller_2.13.1-0ubuntu2_i386.changes
file-roller_2.13.1-0ubuntu2_i386.deb
file-roller_2.13.1.orig.tar.gz

The archive has been created where it consitantly failed so no backtrace could
be obtained. No versions have changed (reinstall of file-roller cured? no other
archive bugs/crashed found previously)

Please advise. Mike
