After recent changes in Dapper, my 30 GB USB hard drive isn't automatically
mounted anymore. However, my 64 MB USB key works perfectly.

Calling pmount /dev/sda1 /media/usbdrive mounts it correctly.

Here is the output of gnome-volume-manager after I insert the disk:
