Summary: Can't open torrents from ftp site.
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: nautilus
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: Lex.Hider at gmail.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
nautilus 2.13.2 from dapper.
If I open a *.torrent file that I have saved to the hard-drive, then nautilus
will open it with gnome-btdownload.
If I upload a *.torrent file to ftp server, open the folder with nautilus and
try to open all I get is an error message of the form:
Window Title: Can't Display Location.
Window Contents: Couldn't display "ftp://ftp.some.site/name_of_file.torrent"
I tried this on two ftp servers, with the same outcome.
