Summary: new icon for Gnome System Monitor is confusing
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-system-monitor
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: thesicktwist at hotmail.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I just installed Ubuntu Breezy Badger Colony 3 and the Gnome System Monitor icon
is a little ambiguous. In English, a "monitor" can mean a device that gives
feedback about resources or a piece of computer hardware used to display visual
output. The icon looks like the latter but is meant to represent the former.
This may seem trite, but as an experienced Ubuntu user I was still thrown
off-guard to read the word "monitor" and see a picture of a hardware monitor.
The first thing that came to mind when I saw this is "Oh, this must be a new
tool for configuring the display.", which obviously this is not.
