Ubuntu | nautilus

Summary: Files in Tree view cannot be operated on
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: nautilus
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: peter.parkkali at iki.fi
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

If Tree View is set to show files in addition to folders,

- A single left-click on the files produces an error dialog:
  --------------------------------------------
           _Can't Display Location_
   *Couldn't display "/path/to/file.ext".*
The location is not a folder. [ OK ]
  --------------------------------------------
- Double-clicking the files does either nothing, or the above
- Selecting "Open" from the file's right-click menu does either
nothing, or produces the same error as above. The choice between
nothing and the error seems random; or I can't find out what
  causes which.
- The right-click menu's "Open" function has a folder icon next
to it, also implying that nautilus thinks it's a folder.
- Files (and folders) cannot be dragged from the tree view.

PS. These bugs seemed so closely related that i felt it would
be OK to list them in one report.
