Hi everyone!
When trying to use Rhythmbox to play some music with my iPod it crashes although
the song database is correctly processed. When running rhyhmbox box in console
with --debug option i get some strange entries like these while RB is processing
the itunes.db:
[load_ipod_db_idle_cb] rb-ipod-source.c:312 (10:24:14): Adding
\uffff\uffffia/ipod/iPod_Control/Music/F13/QLWU.mp3 from iPod
[rb_entry_view_row_inserted_cb] rb-entry-view.c:1800 (10:24:14): row added
[rhythmdb_entry_new] rhythmdb.c:891 (10:24:14): emitting entry added
[load_ipod_db_idle_cb] rb-ipod-source.c:312 (10:24:14): Adding from iPod
[rb_entry_view_row_inserted_cb] rb-entry-view.c:1800 (10:24:14): row added
[rhythmdb_entry_new] rhythmdb.c:891 (10:24:14): emitting entry added
Note that in the first the case the correct path should have been
/media/ipod/iPod_Control/Music/F13/QLWU.mp3 ! And in the second there isn't any
filepath... Odd
When effectively trying to play a song i get this message:
[rb_shell_player_open_location] rb-shell-player.c:955 (10:32:31): Opening
/media/ipod/iPod_Control/Music/F45/ZFSF.mp3...

[rb_player_sync_pipeline] rb-player-gst.c:454 (10:32:31): syncing pipeline

`gst_uri_is_valid (uri)' failed

My iPod is entirely managed by udev, hotplug, hal... I have no entry in
/etc/ftsab for it.
