           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED

Setting background to "No wallpaper" in gnome-background-properties has
unpredictable results depending on which wallpaper was previously selected.

(1) Background switch to a solid chocolate color (not the color selected in
"Desktop color" option). This happens most often.
(2) Background doesn't change. Previous wallpaper still display.
(3) In a few occasions, the correct behaviour does occurs -- background switch
to a solid color displayed in the "Desktop color" option).
