I like using ion2 instead of metacity with GNOME, so I've been setting
/desktop/gnome/applications/window_manager/default to /usr/bin/ion2. It works
fine under Hoary, but recently broke in Breezy. If I select an Ion2 session in
gdm it starts up fine. I had this trouble on another machine and my solution was
to just remove metacity and start ion2 in my gnome session before anything else.
