Summary: MS exchange account cannot be deleted entirely
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: evolution
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: dan.j.allen at gmail.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Setting up and creating an MS exchange account succeeds, providing access to
mail, calendar, tasks and contacts (including the Global Address List).
However, when this information needs to be changed, only the mail portion
reflects the new information (server, account name, etc...). The calendar,
contacts and tasks become unavailable because evolution is still attempting to
connect to the old server for these resources. I can tell by clicking on the
checkbox next to the calendar and spotting the URL it is attempting to contact
to flash in the status bar (and it is the old server).

In order to completely remove the account, it was necessary for me to delete the
account in evolution, remove the ~/.evolution directory and the
~/.gconf/apps/evolution directory and then logout. The logout is required
because it appears the gconf is caching the server addresses for the calendar
and contacts in the ~/.gconfd/saved_state file (perhaps a gnconf shutdown would
have done the same trick).

In order to reproduce this problem, first create a connection to an MS exchange
server. Next, delete that account and establish a new account (it may be that
some information must remain the same in order to see this bug, I am not 100%
sure). The new account will have access to email, but the calendar and contacts
will not be accessible since they will be pointing to the old server.

To me, this appears to be a problem with not flushing information from gconf,
though I am not certain how that server operates.
