Summary: metacity occasionally moves all non-maximised windows
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: metacity
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: jrl at ids.org.au
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Occasionally when opening a new window (opening a folder in nautilus, launching
an application) metacity quickly flashes up a window from a different workspace
(without the window decorations). After this all non-maximised windows on all
workspaces are moved down and to the right, by the size of the decorations (i.e.
down by the height of the titlebar, and right by the width of the window frame).

A similar effect occurs when metacity is killed and then automatically restarts;
however in this case metacity isn't crashing and being restarted (I checked the
process list).

This is ocurring with Metacity 2.11.1-0ubuntu2. All Gnome/X packages have been
updated to the latest breezy packages in the last day or two.
