Description:
multipath-tools - Command-line utilities for administering multipath disk access
Launchpad-Bugs-Fixed: 98518
Changes:
multipath-tools (0.4.7-1ubuntu7.1) dapper-proposed; urgency=low
.
* Move hsg80 multibus failover init sequence from
/etc/init.d/multipath-tools-boot script to /sbin/hsg80_start.
.
* Fix udev rules:
* Add rule to invoke /sbin/hsg80_start only if we match an HSG80
with proper size checking.
* kpartx rule was never invoked because dapper udev filter dm-* events
in 20-names. Move the invokation to multipath-helper that will take
care to associate real device Major/Minor to the multipath device
and call kpartx in the right way.
* multipath-helper: take care to call multipath -v 0 on each device as we
do in feisty udev rules.
.
* hsg80_start: add proper checking for commands, wait for devices and force
restart of multipathd. The latter is required if the running multipathd
will try to add the not-properly-started-yet disk causing an endless
loop of errors without readding the disk to dm-multipath due to size
mismatch.
