Description:
wpasupplicant - Client support for WPA and WPA2 (IEEE 802.11i)
Closes: 2952
Changes:
wpasupplicant (0.4.7-0ubuntu1) dapper; urgency=low
.
The "Careful with that Dapper axe, Eugene" release. Note that WPA
support is in Wireless Extensions 18, so kernels >= 2.6.14 should be
used with the 'wext' driver instead of the internal supplicant one.
See README.Debian.
.
* New upstream release (resynchronise with and incorporate changes
from Debian NMU 0.4.6-0.2):
- Add support for madwifi-ng in driver_madwifi.
- Fix infinite loop in parsing an invalid configuration file, wired
IEEE 802.1X authentication, OpenSSL error reporting, and
driver_ndis.
- Increase timeout for IEEE 802.11 association using drivers that
may take more than five seconds to associate.
* Start wpasupplicant in rcS.d prior to networking so that interfaces
can get a DHCP lease (Closes: #2952 and Debian #310136).
