   * debian/patches/storage-policy-debian.patch:
     - Remove the sync/async mounting policy so that all devices are mounted
       "async" by default.
     - This will avoid physical damage of flash chips due to exaggerated
       updating of inode/FAT structures and greatly speed up the write
       throughput. On the bad side this makes it much less safe to remove devices
       without proper umounting.
     - Debian #309625.
   * debian/preferences.fdi: Adopt the comment for the sync/async example.
