Closes: 311516 316051
Changes:
maxdb-7.5.00 (7.5.00.30-1) unstable; urgency=low
.
* New upstream release
* renamed libsqldbc7.5.00 and libsqlod7.5.00 to libsqldbc75 and
libsqlod75 due to new C++ ABI
* added build dependency on libc6.1-dev >= 2.3.4 on ia64 due to bug
#318429
* maxdb-server-7.5.00:
- added symlink to dbmcli in the installation run-directory because
it is needed there by the MaxDB java testframe to run regression
tests
- call dbmstop from installation path and not from independent path
in prerm
* maxdb-server:
- removed dbmstart and dbmstop from package; they belong to the
dependent programs; x_start and x_stop is what should be used
instead
- added adduser to dependencies
- removed dependency on virtual package maxdb-database-server as it led
to an undefined processing order of maxdb-server and maxdb-server-7.5.00
during installation which might result in errors during the initial
installation of the packages
* libsqlod75-dev: removed broken static libs
.
maxdb-7.5.00 (7.5.00.26-2) UNRELEASED; urgency=low
.
* maxdb-webtools: downported changes to allow this version of the
webtools to be used with databases running release 7.6; 7.6 will not
include the webtools package any more
67_webdbm76.dpatch
* added debian stamp to release version string in knldiag
* applied patches provided by Johannes Vetter to dbapi.py:
66_dbapi_py_imports.dpatch
74_dbapi_date_time_format.dpatch
(Closes: #311516, #316051)
* maxdb-server-7.5.00: add link to dbmcli to /usr/lib/maxdb/7.5.00/bin;
some programs (e.g. the MaxDB java testframe) try to execute dbmcli
directly from there
* maxdb-server: do not exit in postinst script if x_server update fails;
this can happen e.g. if you install the package in a chroot
