Other commands, such as merge, log, diff, qlog, qdiff, etc. should also be

That makes sense in general when you specify a location - bug filed

The other commands are usually used in an existing control
directory, where they will just use the default colocated branch.
switch allows changing the currently active branch so is a bit
special in this regard.<br>
