I'm planning to disable comparing with parent branch for lightweight checkouts, because it's not safe enough. Even if it is harmless, it does not look harmless and it will certainly generate a lot of "internal support" questions for me. :) fwiw... The only way we would use checkouts in our environment would be lightweight. Heavy checkouts are not particularly advantageous in our peculiar workflow. thanks ~M
