No? Then why did I feel the same thing when I read that e-mail. It's
not even that I've been around long enough to contribute as I am
presently and reluctantly in the middle of a search for a VCS that can
support our workflows and provide opportunity for improvement without
killing our productivity due to learning curve. Writing stuff like
that e-mail and then expecting it to not be interpreted several
different ways is unrealistic.

Maybe he didn't mean what a lot of people thought it meant. That
Does not mean he can't be challenged to understand how what he writes
is interpreted. I don't know any of you all, but David is not alone.

I'm not banging on Ben here, as I withheld a response even though I
wanted to +1 it. So maybe I do agree he didn't deserve it, but that
kind of e-mail doesn't help anyone feel the community is healthy
enough to lean on or collaborate with.
