I thought that might be the suggestion!

I should make it clear that I'm not trying to control anything in these
folders ("Application Data", "My Music", etc) and that Bazaar works fine
from the command line. The only problem I have is that the GUI is trying to
look in these folders when I try to add files.

Is there no simple way to tell the GUI not to bother as it won't be able to
read them?
