No, we're definitely in libc/locales land here:


(maverick-amd64-sbuild)root at chimaera:/# locale -a
C
POSIX


(natty-amd64-sbuild)root at chimaera:/# locale -a
C
C.UTF-8
POSIX



Now if I can just figure out how to build a UTF-8 locale in maverick...
