I'm pretty sure that was a typo, he reported 2.4 previously.

There are some good improvements in bzr 2.5 that would help here,
particularly when using lightweight checkouts of remote branches, if
going down that route. However, I don't remember any fundamental ones
on memory usage, I think all of John's work with the emacs branch
landed for 2.4 already.
