[ANN] bzr-2.5b2 has gone gold !

Hi all,

It's time for a new beta in the 2.5 series: 2.5b2 has just been frozen
and tagged.

Packagers and installer builders are therefore gently reminded to turn
into production mode so we can get the beta release announcement out and
more importantly allow our beta users to enjoy the latest features and
bug fixes.

As usual, I hope to be able to make the announcement on Tuesday morning
UTC with whatever installers are available at this point the number of
which will hopefully be greater than zero ;)

The tarball has been uploaded at  https://launchpad.net/bzr/2.5/2.5b2

In my mail about freezing 2.5b1 I mentioned our poor whatsnew document
and sadly it's still empty.

John replied with a summary that I used to update the bzr-2.5.txt
document for 2.5b1 but what I wanted for the whatsnew doc is more a
summary section for each topic.

As RM (and non-native speaker as well), I can't do that alone, so please
file merge proposals with such additions and I will be able to merge
them.

On a related topic, I add to fix the bzr-2.5.txt document where several
entries has been filed for 2.5.b1 instead of 2.5b2, so, patch pilots and
merge proposal reviewers, please keep that in mind when approving and
landing.

I've updated the releasing.txt document to add a check against such
issues but there may be a deeper problem here.
