Bazaar 2.4 crashes when doing lightweight checkout (2.3.4 has no problems)

Hi,

Just thought I would let you know on the list in case anyone has a 
workaround for this bug I reported:

Basically, lightweight checkouts are now impossible so I've had to 
uninstall bazaar from the package manager and reinstall 2.3.4 from 
source. If anyone has a workaround so I can use 2.4 then would be 
grateful...
