We did that in the past and the consensus has been that the end result
was far worse.

The windows installers are built by volunteers, helping them is often
more productive than putting more pressure on them.

I certainly don't blame them for not being as responsive as they have
been in the past, they do quite an amazing job and will certainly gladly
accept more help.
