Would it be doable to make Bazaar Explorer display some sort of feedback (even 
a 'Operation X completed successfully.' in status bar, or sth) in that case?

Actually, maybe it would make sense to turn it around and make the behaviour 
you propose the default and have a knob 'Keep operation window open after 
successful completion.' or similar?
