Diff format?

Thanks.

So, if I install bzr-git, I will be able to say "bzr diff --format=git" 
and get output like with "git diff", is that it?  But if so, why do I
need bzr-git for this, the git format being quite similar to what we
have natively in bzr?  What am I missing?
