Launchpad supports privacy, so it is https-by-default.

Launchpad supports email. https://help.launchpad.net/Bugs/EmailInterface
It also supports access over a RESTful API, and there are programs that
will let you access Launchpad without using a browser:
https://help.launchpad.net/Clients
You can also link your branches to launchpad bugs by doing "commit
- --fixes lp:$BUGNUMBER" and then pushing your branch to Launchpad.
