Its a setuptools glitchy thing - many folk had this with launchpadlib on Ubuntu, but fresh installs were not affected. Clean out all your .pyc files in /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/launchpadlib and lazr and then run sudo update-python-modules -a (or something like that). Cheers, Rob
