You'd make a lot of admins very happy :-) Looking forward to your solution.

I tried setting up restricted shared environment for work, but ended up 
giving up. I tried using unix groups and WebDAV, but former was too 
cumbersome, and the latter I couldn't get working on my server. I 
haven't tried contrib/bzr_access, but last I checked it only handled 
global access, and not per branch access controls. The setup seemed a 
bit painful too...
