I think you (as a development community) will hvae to spend a lot more
effort
integrating it into common IDEs used in the enterprise vefore you will
get much
traction.
I had a problem with bzreclipse which went unanswered for a while on
here and then
a private message off-list that got me going - to which I replied to no
effect. The mail
list for bzr-eclipse on launchpad is effectively closed to non-launchpad
users.
I'm using it and its working but has some very rough edges relatng to UI
and will
not win friends in a corporate eval - I guess it just needs polish and
an appearence
of more active TLC.
I don't have any experience trying Bazaar with Visual Studio or the
Oracle dev tools
but integration there will be a necessity too.
Few big companies (the sort that can afford Martin Fowler, anyway) can
afford
to standardise on technologies that don't integrate well into a
cross-platform env
and the existing toolsets - or which have weak access controls or process
controls, or which may focus on distributed development without having a
strong
story for a central managed repository.
