Memory issues on 2.1.0b4-2 standalone installer

When I use the bzr version 2.1.0b4-2 on a Vista-64 system, bzr reports
that it is out of memory.

I'm running the following command to check out a large SVN branch that
contains at least one file that is about 500M.

bzr checkout --lightweight svn://somemachine/ndi/eiw/trunk
D:/home/jody/work/BZR/EIW

After working for I while, I receive the following message:

Out of memory - terminating application.

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

This is on a system with 16G of RAM and 32G of swap. Window's task
manager never shows more than 4G usage.

Does this issue mean that I need to build a complete x86_64 version of
bazaar so that I can checkout this branch?

Thanks,

Jody
