Good god, man, get a hold of yourself.
In the case of Canonical, you're speaking of a company which makes a
regular practice of freeing its most attractive products, and we're
talking about offering a license which allows the licensee to
*withhold* the privileges that Canonical normally offers to the users
of its products.
Not to mention that we're talking about simply asking the court to
enforce rights granted by the duly elected representatives of the
citizenry.
You don't have to like the practice; I don't. (Especially since the
FSF is one of the foremost practictioners.) But there's a big
difference between "socially irresponsible" and "criminal".
