I work on the Mailman 3 code under bzr 2.x on Ubuntu Karmic, OS X 10.5 and OS
X 10.6 (the latter two built from MacPorts). Admittedly, the Mailman 3 code
base is not huge, but I've had no real problems with interoperability,
reliability, or performance.
You can time things all you want, but I ask, is it so slow that it gets in the
way of the task at hand (writing software, fixing bugs, sharing code)? The
answer for me is "no". In fact, one of the best things about bzr for me is
that it stays out of my way until I need it, then it does what I want with
little or no complaint.
